FALL Inspired:) ....& I wish I didn't suck at fashion.

As much as I love shopping for nice clothes, shoes, purses and accessories - I still suck at "fashion". I can´t seem to put together a perfect "pinterest outfit" (haha, do you know what I mean?).
I always think that it´s because I don´t have enough clothes, or the right clothes - that I have to shop more and shop for those specific items. But my room is overflowing of clothes. My drawers are literally breaking down because of the amount of clothes in them and I know, deep inside, it´s just me sucking at putting together a nice outfit.........

Norwegian fall could get pretty cold and wet, so there´s not really an option to wear sandals and other cute flats, even though I wish so.
My other problem is that since I work as a hairdresser it´s just not very practical so wear big, cosy, warm sweaters or big scarves and everything - it´s simply too hot in the salon. So I end up looking all plain jane all day long, everyday. I only get to put on a lot of cozy items when I´m walking to or from my car!
I could wear cute sandals or flats in the salon, because it´s hot, but then again - should really wear good sneakers for my feet ya´ know, so not very stylish on that part either...

Yeah, I know, my life is so hard....;-)

I still dream though, so because I can´t put up perfect outfit pictures of myself, I can show you what I would wear if I managed to put together a decent outfit ;-)

It´s late August and I´m all Fall inspired!

The Leaves are Falling...

Hmmm.. I always dream about living in a country with a warmer and more tropical climate... But I love fall... What´s fall like when you can´t wear big scarves and cosy knitted sweaters because it´s too hot?
I´m thinking about going to California to study, how is fall in California? :)

Vacation Skiathos, Greece ’13.

I went to Skiathos, Greece with my family 10. - 17. August and it was simply paradise!
I´ve been to Greece twice before - Zakynthos, but that was NOTHING compared to this island.

It´s just like you imagine it to be like, white beaches, white houses with blue windows etc. Crystal clear turquoise water. I wanna go back. Now.

It was total relaxation. We just stayed by the pool or the beach and went to town a few nights for dinner and some shopping. It was so nice there, not that typical "tacky" place or partyshit or whatever.

We went on a boat trip to Skopelos, also a beautiful island. It was the "Mamma Mia" tour, as parts of the movie has been filmed at mainly Skopelos, but some scenes are also from Skiathos.
Not that it matter to me  really, I haven´t even seen the whole movie ;)

We had three stops on the tour, and we stopped at this church from the movie, and some beautiful beaches! I really loved it! It was sooo relaxing sitting on top deck and just admiring the view and feel the sun on my body :)

I´m just gonna let you guys fall in love with this island by showing you some pictures.
It´s not really a lot to tell you as we did nothing but lie on the beach all day and get tanned ;)

AND I drank a lot of coffee. OMG Greek Freddo Cappuccino or Greek Frappe are the best coffee ever. OOOOOOHHHHH I LOVE IT! As you can see, or if you follow me on Instagram (missdelirium) you´ve probably seen it already, there were a few coffees involved during my stay ;)

ENJOY MY PICTURES :)

Northern Blonde

I find it very appropriate to do a "my hair story" or something like that by now as I´ve gone through some fun changes the past year.
This post however is only to show you how my hair is right now. I tried to sit down and make a collage of my different hair colors the past year, but it´s so hard picking out old pictures of myself that I like - I just need some more time working on that, hehe ;)

A brief history: about a year ago I started to highlight my hair after dying it black and dark brown for a couple of years (I´m naturally as blonde as in the picture below). I just needed some change, but god do I like that dark hair!

It got lighter and lighter and the color I got right before I left for my Florida Roadtrip was simply amazing! I was sooo pleased with it! However, as my hair was very damaged from bleaching and using minicolor AND staying in the sun all day everyday for almost two weeks, swimming in the ocean, swimming in the pool. Being caught in tropical rainstorms all the time and showering in water with chlorine in it.. Well let´s just say it doesn´t do wonders to your hair or your hair color ;-)

By the time I got home the color was all washed out and I was pretty blonde! But as I said, it was a washed out color.. My roots wasn´t showing as bad as with my dark hair (imagine almost black hair with almost white regrowth, makes me look bald!) and I kinda liked the idea of turning blonde...

HOWEVER, I did something stupid being desperate and sick of the washed out color - I went to work and just smashed some color in it trying to get it better, and yeah, it got kinda better, I just hated it..
So then I decided to go blonde! And here I am!

The whole viking scene is because I went to a Medieval Party that my friends and I had been planning for a whole year.

I made the flower headpiece myself, and I sew the dress myself (with a lot of help from my mum) and before I left for the party I went down to the beach to take some pictures, as this ship had been laying here for a week. How appropriate! :-)
