My Self Knitted Jumper - finally finished :)

I´m so proud of myself I´m almost gonna cry :´-D  Feels like I´m ready to take over the world now! I actually managed to make something - knit my own sweater! OK it´s not that hard, but I finished it! And it´s AWESOME!

It´s a lovely khaki-green color and I just love it. Don´t know what more to say.

I´m super proud and want to wear it all the time..:P As soon as I find another color I like I wanna do another one!!!

HERE´S A BUNCH OF NON-PROFESSIONAL OUTFIT PHOTOS FOR YA:D

So glad to be wearing my Laura Bellariva boots again, I love Fall <3

HOW TO:

I´ve used 100% wool yarn Superwash:
It says 3,5 needle, but I´ve been knitting on a 7 needle since I wanted this type of jumper.

OK to be honest I got no idea what words to use when talking about knitting ha ha!!! :)

Will do some research on this and get back to you on the pattern, but seriously it´s so easy!

All the pieces are knitted from the bottom up.

Front Piece:
Cast on 78 stitches
Start off with knit one, purl one for approx 5 cm.
Continue to knit.
When reached a few cm. before desired length - Find the centre and bind off 16 stitches total (on the middle).
Then knit a round or two before bind off again 1 stitches on each side.
(You can make the neck as you wish, you decide how you want it).
Bind off.

Back Piece:
Cast on 78 stitchess
Start off with knit one, purl one for approx 5 cm.
Continue to knit until desired length.
(I made my backpiece a little longer that the front piece).
Bind off.

Sleeves:
Cast on 44 stitches.
Start off with knit one, purl one for approx 5 cm.
Knit until you count 15 rounds.
Then increase with 1 stitch on each side of the needle every fourth round.
(You´ll start increasing on the fifth).
Do this until you count 56 stitches in total.
(You´ll be increasing by 12 stitches)
Then knit until desired length.
I didn´t knit many rounds, maybe one or two..
You´ll just have to measure with the backpiece!
Bind off.

Then time for making up!
Put the pieces against each other - right side agains rights side.
Use the yarn that you used knitting with, and a big needle.
Start with the shoulders.
Then sew the arms on, and continue down the sides.
I left a split approx 10 cm on both sides.

OK don´t know if this makes any sense.. but it´s the best i can do right now :)

If you have done anything like this or want to try making your own sweater, please let me know - I would love to see the result! :)

Today I have finally had the energy to be starting painting my room - first layer is done!
Guess I´ll be finished by the end of the week. I also managed to break my bed into two pieces (not because I´m a whale, but I was moving it and because of my extreme strength and blah blah yea u get my drift;)) and that means I will be going to IKEA sooner than first planned - well that´s not really a bummer tho, I want new furnitures!

I got such a lovely idea for my vanity table!

Do you have any interior tips for vanity tables/makeup organizing? Please share with me!

I´m gonna go cuddle in my lovely jumper now and then off to bed! Work tomorrow & I´m already longing for my daily dose of hot black heaven ;-)

Fall Makeup Look - Green & Gold

I guess you´re gonna see this "FALL" appear quite a few times on my blog nowadays. Hehe. I´m totally addicted/inspired and just trying to make the most out of Autumn as I can! :)

I love love love love love love fall and don´t want it to end! Gosh, feel like I´m wasting every single day at work.. Ffffff.... I´m like desperate?! Anyone else feeling like this, or am I just crrrrrazy?

OK, enough worry talk - here´s a look I did today. Actually I´ve been wearing something like this for a few weeks now, I love the green and gold. Also wearing a lot of khaki, beige, black, grey, armygreen in my outfits so it matches perfectly!

But hey, I tried this collage for my photos today - how does that work out for ya? I´m not quite sure if I love or hate it??? You know I´m a fan of huge photos.. I like good photos and details! Does this collage give the makeup justice..? Is it enough? Do the small ones get too small? Hmmm.. Please give me feedback..:)

The Forever 21 shadow is something I came over when I was on my way to checkout.. Thought it would be perfect for smokey eye fall looks - and I was right;)
IsaDora metallic eye pen is just amazing!!!! Soooo soft and gives lots of color - LOVE it.

Guerlain Sun In The City Summer 2012 Collection

This post is kinda late! I´m sorry, summer is over and here I am talking about something that came out several months ago... Oh well, who cares, it´s a wonderful products and I´m glad that it´s mine :)

Please enjoy:)

I don´t know if I can say it enough - I love Guerlain. Simple as that.
Need no explanation why;)
Every year they come up with such beautiful collections, and every year I die a little inside because I can´t always afford buying all the products I want... But even tho Guerlain is kinda pricey, now and then I take the splurge and get myself some deliciousness :) I always know that no matter which product I get, I will be satisfied.

Guerlain have been launching quite a few collections of Terracotta bronzers, they all have something to die for - but this particular collection has a couple of special items, get ready to gasp. I saw the collection for the first time at the airport in Oslo when we were leaving for Thailand, typical me I went straight to the Guerlain counter for my dose of heaven - and there it was.
The most beautiful color and powder/shimmer/highlighter I had ever seen caught my eyes and I was just like I NEED THAT THING NOW!!! Ofc it was sold out because Norway is in general LAME. I will admit that at this point I was quite pissed off. Knowing that this is a limited product and If I don´t get my hands on it now, I probably never will..

Instead I treated myself with a two in one travel sized edition of the FANTASTIC Terracotta dry shimmering oil (I bought this last year and loved it) The smell is like heaven and I´ve been looking everywhere for a perfume that smells like it (please help me on this, im still looking out for this). Since it was a two in one there was one oil and one bodyspray! Just like I wanted :) I´ve been using it for two weeks and it´s almost empty:( And since it´s a body spray the scent doesn´t stay on forever...:/
Again; I want a perfume like this!!!!

ANYWAY I calmed myself down thinking I could get the Sun in the City powder in Bangkok.. Well, I was wrong! There´s no Guerlain counters in Bangkok? Maybe there are but not where I was looking.. And If I found any there were just perfumes there and no makeup..? Hmm.. Anyway over to the fun part. As we were on our way home we stopped halfway in Doha, Qatar and had about three hours until the connecting flight. I was not feeling well so I had my shortest trip to a taxfree ever I think.. I saw the Guerlain sign and was almost crawling my way ‘I NEED SUN IN THE CITY SHIMMEEEEER..’ They had lots in stock so I grabbed my piece forgetting all about checking the other products out tho.. I didn´t open it before I got home, and I didn´t have any idea what it would look like because both the times I saw it in stores the display powder was already almost empty after hundreds of people touching and swatching it... I just loved the color..

When I opened it, HOOOOOMFG I think my heart just skipped a beat or five, I think I lost my breath, my brain stopped functioning, it was....wassss... IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME in lack of better words, HELLO-OH the thing looks like it´s in 3D for crying out loud?! :D OK, don´t know If I´m a bit over enthusiastic here about this powder, but I just love it so much and it looks so pretty on my skin and and and I just want it to last forever! Now I feel SUPERSAD because I don´t wanna touch it anymore ruining the beautiful design, and even worse, I don´t want it to finish!!!! What am I going to do when it´s finished and I want to repurchase it!?!? It´s definitely worth $70 for sure, I would not question it a second. I´m actually considering buying another one for the time when my first one runs out..;) It has a light scent to it, the scent that makes your makeup smell luxurious..

Talking about luxurious, the whole thing is just pure luxury. It feels like your brushing gold on your freaking face, bathing your face in golden sun rays. OK, the average girl would probably not dip her face in glitter, shimmer and gold and feel good, I would :) he he.. I love all kinds of shimmer products, and sadly I can´t brag about having a huge collection, but this particular one is so beautiful I can´t keep my eyes off it and I can´t talk about it enough.. Guerlain got some pretty ones from before, for sure, but this one is SPECIAL. I like that it´s not multicolored, that is´t pure... pure gold really..:)

Well, enough talk, over to the pictures.

It´s hard to show exactly how beautiful it is via a photo, but these are the best I could get of it.

Fall Fashion Inspiration 2012

Lately I have been using Pinterest quite a lot to find inspiration for fall outfits, there´s soooo many nice pieces and outfits out there imma die looking at it! *pinning like crazy*.

Here´s a small collection taken from my Pinterest site, it´s just random photos found everywhere!
It´s really just basic outfits/items, easy to combine and it´s something almost everyone got lying around - you just gotta match it right :)

MAKEUP LOOK: Gold & Pink Inner Crease

This look is from my makeup date I had with my lovely bff Angell :)

I wanted to do something a little more simple than that over the top glitterish green cut crease :)
So a really simple gold look with a dash of pink there is..:)

My makeup doll was already tired of, well.. just being a makeup doll really:p and her eyes were all irritated because of all the makeup, the blitz/ring light, and the wind (we were taking pictures outside at the end).. Ha ha thanks for hanging in there! ;)

I love gold, and I love pink.. And that color combo is one of my absolute favorites!
Well actually, almost ANY color looks good in the combination of gold..
Just imagine gold and royal blue, gold and turquoise, gold and sea green, gold and black... LOVE IT!

Which color combo do just absolutely love?

Here´s some pictures!
Don´t think this is the last you´ll see of pink and gold together, gonna be lots and lots of this delight..;)

(We were taking pictures outside, and it was kinda windy that day so BOTH her eyes started to tear and it wouldn´t stop - totally ruining the makeup! Haha well that´s the unglamorous life of a unprofessional makeupblogger I guess!;P)

London 27. - 31. July :)

I went to visit my friend in London the last weekend in July. I hadn´t seen her since August last year and it was about time that we got together! :)

The Olympics started the same day as I arrived and even though we didn´t go to see any of the games it was nice with the whole Olympics feeling everywhere in the city :) Also so nice to wake up and have brekkie and tea while watching Olympics on tv :)

We didn´t have that much time together, but we were sure that we should squeeze in some time to do some makeuplooks. We´re both beautyaddicts (that´s actually how we became friends in the first place!) and last year she finally did what I always have been dreaming about: taking classes and become an educated Makeup Artist :)
The thing is ..we didn´t get time to do any makeup at all..! We were waking up early every morning and headed out in the city, you knoooow there was things to dooo, places to beee... and the time just flew away! By the time we were home it was getting dark and we were to tired to even think about doing any makeup..:P

But all in all we had a lovely time together and next time there will definitely be some makeup :)

This was my third time to London, but we still had to do some tourist stuff :P My friend lives near the cabel cars so we had to try it before going to the city for some shopping :)

Then we went to Camden!

And almost just when we got there we walked past a tattoo and piercing shop and got an instant idea!

I wanted to get my navel pierced!
And Kasia wanted her ear pierced :)

A little ouchie, but worth it :)

Cute pastel houses :)

Then we went to get something to eat.. Just ought some cheap indian food at Camden. It was good!

Okay, coming from Norway - I love Primark!

Ended up with a few items this time too :)

Kasia works at a RAW Food restaurant/café so I got to try a Pumpkin Pie! Delicioussssss :D

I did some highlights on Kasia.. Looks kinda messy but it turned out good even though we did it at home ;)

Something from the Olympics, this is from the day we were at Stratford.
Bought some really nice items from New Look and Forever 21. Finally got myself a new pair of Dr. Martens! :)

Wine and tea..;)

At Starbucks on monday before going back home..:/

Somebody have pink lips today ;)

Woohoo that was it!

Had a lovely time. Really wanna go again soon, love seeing my friend and love London!

Last holiday post in a while I guess ;)

More fashion/beautyrelated stuff soon to come :D
