BLOGtober 14th - Huge Inglot Haul ♡♡♡

*Nomnomnom*
....Hiiii!
*nomnom*
....I'm just *sipping some tea* trying to write this while munching on a huge chocolate muffin from my one hand and drinking tea from the other!
That's totally okay, right?...Okay or not, I'm doing it! ;)

I got back home from Oslo a few hours ago - and boy did I have one productive day!
Me and my bff got up really early and went to Starbucks for some breakfast (read: croissant) and - can you guess? Pumpkin Spice Latte of course! However I did leave with the impression that they didn't reeeally know how to make it as it wasn't much reminding of a PSL - just a liiiittle bit of cinnamon.. Hmm.. I did buy another one before going home though. Just making sure my PSL craving settles for a while (hahaha never gonna happen!).

Ok, so I'm gonna stop making this into a novel about my Starbucks experience today, and tell you about the really exciting stuff! How do you all like that? :)

BTW MY POINT WAS that we got up really early, sat down and had a wonderful breakfast at Starbucks BEFORE going to Inglot at 10:00 am in the morning, ain't that something!

We spent about 2 hours in the store and I can't see anything wrong with that ;)
Here I am super-happy with my purchases!

And what do you do after a two hour long shopping spree at Inglot? You go back to Starbucks for some afternoon (hibiscus blend) tea, of course!
We sat down with our tea and admired our purchases. What a lovely day! Not a worry in sight!

My bff went to school as she had one class to attend to - meanwhile I made sure to get my nails done - acrylic.
Later we met up at MAC & I bought a few items there as well:O (Of course CYBER had to be sold out!)
A last trip to Starbucks to make sure Pumpkin Spice Latte accompanied me in the car on our way home;)

I got home after a rather boring and long drive (still holiday traffic) a few hours later - I was so excited to try it all out tonight, but even a make-up junkie needs her rest after such a hard day......;)

A sneak preview would have to do tonight.. It's not all sorted or anything yet so it might not look too appealing - but I promise, there's some really nice shades in there;)

I filled a 20 palette and half of the powder palette. I thought it would be smart to leave some room if I want to bring it with me if I'm gonna travel and such!

Aaaaah, can't wait to put it all in the palettes :) Would have to wait until tomorrow! Of course I have an appointment early tomorrow morning & will probably not be home until afternoon, oh well, I'll survive, I hope;)

BLOGtober 7th - MOTD Simple Fall Look

I went to the gym this morning and guess what, I didn't die!
Hopefully I will manage to go on Wednesday as well..:) Please, self-control stay with me.

Here's my MOTD :)
A simple look to start with! Hopefully I'll feel more inspired with time and I'll feel more confident, I haven't done a lot of make-up in some time now.
Suddenly have a lot more time on my hands now and I'm able to pick up this hobby and passion of mine again :)

I used shades from my Viva La Diva Palette and the Neutral 88 Palette. Nothing to exciting, I'm a bit bored with them at the moment to be honest.. I need something different..
I've actually ordered some Sleek palettes and I'm looking forward to be playing around with them :) I've heard a lot of good stuff about the Sleek palettes...

is it something I really should look forward to? :)

I lined my lips with Dior 943 Thrilling Plum, blended it slightly inwards and applied my MAC Vegas Volt on the rest. It doesn't show to well on the pictures actually, but it was a very nice orangey fall shade :) I will probably do that combo again :)

I'm starting to get really tired of my Samsung camera - ok so it makes my skin look fairly well, smooth and nice, just need some photoshop touches on my imperfections - and closeups. But it sucks at focusing and there is absolutely nothing called macro. Well, there is, but it sucks.
It doesn't pick up color really well either, and yeah, it's no fun doing a makeup look and when you're going to take the photos they just don't turn out well.. Anyway, this is what I have for now. A few more weeks and I will be back with a new Canon, again ^^

Now I'm just gonna get a huge hot cuppa tea and watch some X-Files, tomorrow the King of Norway (yes, the actual KING) will be guesting the town where I live - and I'm so excited! I love the King so I'm definitely gonna be there to watch him in person! Wooohooo <3

BLOGtober 6th - Inglot News, Ben Nye & Lazy Sunday.

Yesterday I found out the greatest news ever!
Inglot Cosmetics are opening a store in Oslo on the 14th of October! That's just one week away :)

I'm so happy to find this out now as it's my birthday soon and I will probably be going shopping after that, hehe;) But can I wait a whole week?! Aaahhhh I can't wait!
How am I going to keep myself calm in there.. I can finally put together my own palettes and find that big fluffy brush I've been wanting forever..  A dream come true :)

What are your favorite Inglot product/s?

Today has been kind of a lazy sunday, yet I've done some chords around the house - which feels good :)
I had planned to play around with some makeup looks today and I was looking forward to putting them up on my blog - but honestly my skin has been so bad lately, and just when it seemed to get back to normal I got this breakout!
So yeah, I decided I should just leave my face all clean today. No make-up, no nothing.

I took a calming facial mask this morning and the rest of the day I've tried my best to avoid any mirrors haha!
I really love this Formula 10.0.6 series, and I actually feel it makes my skin more balanced and over all it's just good to my skin.

Also I use Basiron (Benzoyl Peroxide) when I have acne breakouts, it will leave my skin quite dry, but it's all worth it as within a week the acne will be if not gone, at least a lot better!
Right now nothing seems to help, but I'm just gonna stay positive haha :)

For my dry skin this coconut oil has become a true friend and hero. It helped me a lot on my dry skin about two weeks back, but now as I've gotten this huge breakout I don't use it that much as I rather focusing on drying my skin (acne) out basically... That's really contradictory - but it's what works for me ;)

I actually got so depressed about my skin that I went online and ordered 4 Ben Nye powders.. eehhe.. I don't know how it happened, it was so cheap so I just.. I just.. had to :)
Probably gonna take a few weeks until they arrive, aaah waiting sucks! But I can't wait to try them! I have few things to look forward to, and tomorrow I will start my new life - I'm actually gonna start going to the gym again.. Wow, wish me luck please!
If you don't hear anything from me again, it's because I died during my sit-ups, or even worse running on the treadmill.. Oh My God..

*to be continued*

1st day of BLOGtober! I'm up for a challenge :)

Lately I've been wanting to get back into blogging, and little by little I feel my motivation comes back.
There's some huge changes going on in my life right now so I guess I turn to my blog as I find it a perfect way of not focusing on all the negative:)

I thought a "blog challenge" would be perfect to get that blogging-mojo back, but unfortunately I was to late to start in September.. However, it's already October - I can't believe that by the way - and what's better than start doing the BLOGTOBER Challenge?
I love October - It's Libra season - my season that is - it's Fall & I love it.

I'm not gonna lie, it's going to be a challenge for sure!
But right now I think it's something that could be very positive for me to do - after all it could be a lot of fun :)

I still have a few Summer and September related posts ready - I just haven't had the time to post them yet! So there's gonna be a some non-BLOGtober posts inbetween.

I have not been tagged by anyone, or seen the BLOGtober on any other blogs that I follow yet (I haven't looked for it either though) SO PLEASE let me know if you're doing it too, and we can all do the BLOGtober Challenge together - because that's kinda part of the deal right? :-)

After I got home from work today I went outside with my dog, Timmy. He loves playing around in the leaves, it's a joy to watch him :-)

Even though I love Fall, I kinda wait the longest I can until storing my flats away for the winter..
It's gotten pretty cold here already, but I will not surrender until..until I can't take it anymore;)

Are you doing the BLOGtober challenge? Or another challenge?
