New In: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation & Eyeliners

My holy grail brown eyeliner was from Bare Minerals, God how I loooooved that liner!! I haven´t been able to find it again after I needed to repurchase and I´ve really felt the need of a new brown liner in my life.
So with that goal in mind I went to my local drugstore and saw that it was a 30% off discount on ALL Maybelline items! I found EXACTLY what I was looking for, a larger pencil with a blending sponge and a twist-up liner which was pretty similar to my old Bare Minerals one.
The only thing I´m missing is a blending tool on the twist-up liner..

Because of the discount I decided to try the matte liquid liner and the Fit Me foundation too.
I´ve probably bought 10 different foundations the past months, high and low end, very few has matched my needs.. This time of the year really messes my skin up and not even eyeshadow is working the way it normally would..(?!?!)

Cleansing & Pore Reducing Mask ~ Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Innisfree, another Korean brand that I´m loving, has this wonderful mask that I want to share with you today.

This is a mask for the ones with troubled skin and that need something that cleanses the skin real good.

The Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask is a 3 in 1 product - it claimes to remove sebum, brighten skin and treat blemishes. It´s also supposed to be soothing and moisturizing to the skin.

It is made of hardened LAVA (pretty cool) and it deeply cleanses the skin and pores, this is why it makes it so good for troubled skin and impurities!

MAC Dreamy Lipglass *Review & Swatches*

I feel like this is one of the glosses I´ve been searching for all my life!

Mac Dreamy Lipglass is a semi sheer glitter gloss with a frosty/crystal finish.
The glitter is pink/gold and it has a lot of shimmer in it. I didn´t manage to catch too much of the glitters on the lipswatch picture, but it does really show when applied on the lips. I love it!
The glitter is not chunky so it´s not uncomfortable to wear at all.
It has a sticky texture, but it feels quite moisturizing

Boots Coconut & Almond Hand and Nail Cream

 
My hands have been very dry and sore lately, the weather has been harsh and I am trying out new hand lotions and cream all the time to find that special one.

This is one of my top three favorites at the moment!
First off; Boots Ingredients Coconut & Almond hand and nail cream smells AMAZING! I love everything coconut and that is the main reason why I got it. When I saw the name "coconut" I just had to have a quick sniff and I was sold. I got even more excited when I tried it because the formula is really good too!

BLOGmas Day 8 - Finals, the holidays and vacation!

A lot of things are and have been happening lately. I´m super stressed and busy with my finals, wich will be over this weekend - can´t wait!
I will then almost rush my way to the airport and go on a vacation with a dear friend of mine for a whole week. We´re travelling to the Canary Islands and even though I don´t have time to think about it right now, I think I´m just a liiittle bit excited about just that!

Coming home will be lovely as it´s Christmas and I love spending time at home with my family. I´m actually a little bit sad that I´m going away for a whole week during December. After all it´s one of my favorite winter months! And I simply can´t get enough of Christmas!

I will be celebrating with my very own little family this year and then just relax all the way until school starts again in mid January.. What about you?

I was in need of a new eye liner and it was completely random that I ended up with this one. I thought the design was cute, it was relatively new and it had a felt tip. Sold.

I was a bit suprised when I opened it because it has this fun, tear-drop shaped innovative tip! The nib is completely flexible and makes the application very easy. It holds a ton of produt and it is very pigmented.

I've been a Anastasia Brow Wiz addict for a long time now and it's a constant repurchase of mine. Recently my local drugstore stopped carrying it and my only options is to either drive for 30-40 minutes to buy it in another store or order it online and get it after a week of waiting. I don't prefer any of those options as I am a person who lives in the moment. If I want or need something, I want it right now. 

Worth the Hype? Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer *Before & After*

So I finally decided to give this one a go!

I´m always on the hunt for something that can help my pores appear smaller, and I have a box full of different primers. Most of them are ok, and probably more than ok as well, but I just don´t think I will ever get satisfied with anything unless my pores go away completely:p So I might not be the most fair person to judge a pore minimizing product, because we all know a primer won´t make any pores in the world dissapear completely. But it can make the problem less noticeable, there and then - so let´s get into my thoughts, is it worth the hype or not?

I´ve seen many other bloggers and you tubers rave about it!

I have purchased almost all of the primers from Smashbox, and I´m a huge fan.

I´m always on the look for something to reduce my pores, so naturally I had to give this one a try!

New In: MAC Blankety *Review & Swatches*

Mac Blankety, a delicate pigmented lipstick with an amplified finish.

It´s creamy with a pinky beige nude shade, and one swipe is really all you need!

It´s definitely one of my must-have nudes from Mac and it looks absolutely gorgeous with a darker lipliner!

*Makeup Haul* Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer + Eye palette, Lancome Color Ideal Foundation & Guerlain Kohl liner

On my last makeup haul I was searching for a new mattifying and pore minimizing primer, of course managed to forget all about it and came home without it.

But as the makeup addict that I am, I had to go out in a new search for this product. I was in desperate need for something giving me matte skin as the Bare Minerals Bare Skin foundation was giving me serious trouble when it came to the not-so-cute-dewy-face-look.
Also since I have major problems with my pores I had the Smashbox primer in mind, and ended up getting that. I also ended up getting a few other things. What a shock.

In my defense, it was a sale on all three things (of course not on the only thing I was supposed to get), and they were all super cheap.

- 1. Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer.

Still trying this one out and before I say anything super positive about it I would like to test it and see if it really is as good as everyone raving on about! First impression is quite good though!
It has the same color and texture as Benefit POREfessional, if that tells you anything. I´m a super fan of that primer so that is definitely a plus!
Will do a review on this later if that is wanted? :)

- 2. Lancome Color Ideal Precise Match Skin Perfecting Make-up, Foundation #3.

As summer is approaching my skin is acting up in all different kinds of ways and it seems it have different needs every day. With means I am in need of different coverage, formula, color, texture, every day. One foundation is simply not enough for me.
This was half of the original price, they had my color and I though it was a great (and cheap) way to try out yet another foundation.
It did not disappoint at all and I really, really, really like it!
Light, but gives enough coverage, nice color, evens out, not too dry or dewy.
Have you tried this foundation? 

- 3. Smashbox Full Exposure *travel size* Eyeshadow Palette.

I´ve been wanting this palette for ages, but I never justified getting it.
Apparently all it took was it to be "travel size" and then it was okay. And that it was on sale.
The palette is very pretty and it is perfect for summer and holiday. It is small and takes up minimal space. And that IS a really good argument for getting it, if you look away from the fact that I will be bringing this small, cute, practical and perfect palette ALONG with I guess at least two other normal sized ones.... So the point is sadly not there for me.. BUT is has some beautiful shades and I would love to do a swatch for you :)

- 4. Guerlain Terracotta Kohl Loose Powder #Noir

This is an old favorite of mine. I´ve had this for years, but one day the application tool broke inside the bottle and it was impossible to use (still with a lot of product inside). I never purchased a new one because of the simple fact, it is pretty expensive, but this one was at least 50% off so I just had to get it :D

It is easy to use and it last for hours. the "wand" makes it easy to create a "cat eye" and the packaging is simply gorgeous.

I am so pleased with everything! Anastasia Brow Wiz is a repurchase. It's a must have in my makeup bag. 
The dip brow pomade has been on my wish list for a long time, and it did not disappoint! Definitely doing a separate post on this one!
Trying out a new foundation, so far I like it, but I need to find a good setting powder that goes perfect with this foundation. It´s a little on the shiny side.
Both of the Mac lipsticks and the lipglass has been on my wishlist for a long time, and finally they´re mine! 
Gorgeous products, I will of course be doing a separate swatch post on these :D

ST. TROPEZ Express Tanning Mousse *THE BEST*

The best self tanner I know! 

Absolutely loving this mousse, it develops quickly, you can shower it off after 1, 2 or 3 hours - depending on how deep color you want, but it continues to work and develop for at least 8 hrs.

It gives such a beautiful tan.

Apply with a tanning mitt and you won´t have a single streak or uneven patch.

Smells amazing, but unfortunately it still has that nasty self tanner smell to it after applied to the skin...

One of my all-time favorite VS fragrances are definitely this one, Amber Romance. 

I can wear this all year round, but during summertime it brings back special memories of past vacations and fun times..!

My New Gel Nails - French Manicure + Glitter

1 and a half week ago I finally managed to go and get my nails done!

Lately I haven´t been doing anything to my nails and they´ve been kept short. They don´t seem as strong and healthy as they used to for just a year ago and it bothers me. I haven´t been wearing gel nails for about one and a half YEAR, so it felt pretty good to finally glam them up a little bit!

Do you prefer your nails to be long or short?

MILANI Baked Blushes ~ Fantastico Mauve, Bellisimo Bronze, Red Vino & Rose D`oro ~

I´ve never been much of a blush-girl so my collection of blushes is not that huge. Actually, it mainly consists of these four blushes from Milani Cosmetics! Could you ever imagine? 

It gives me a sense of relaxation though - knowing I have ONLY four blushes to choose from. Fewer options is gold for a indecisive person like me. Do you know the feeling?

NARS Turkish Delight Lipgloss *Swatches/Review*

I had a little last-minute shopping spree at the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport on my way home from my holiday in Dec-Jan.

I picked up a few items and one of them was this - a gloss I´ve been wanting for a very long time!

I guess it´s quite known for being one of Kim Kardashians go-to products to get those beautiful milky pink nude lips of hers (MAC Stripdown lipliner, MAC Angel lipstick and NARS Turkish Delight lipgloss). And since I love nude lips more than anything eeelse - of course I wanted it!

I was introduced to this powder sometime last year by my sister and it became an instant favorite of mine.
Used as a powder foundation it melts into my skin and gives great coverage. It doesn´t dry out my skin or settle into any dry patches I may have.
I love that I can wear it both as a full coverage foundation and look fab (I can even use this if I´m going out) or if I just want a natural no-makeup look. It gives me the coverage I need and evens out my skin tone, but it doesn´t necessarily look like I´m wearing any make up at all..
