A lot of things are and have been happening lately. I´m super stressed and busy with my finals, wich will be over this weekend - can´t wait!
I will then almost rush my way to the airport and go on a vacation with a dear friend of mine for a whole week. We´re travelling to the Canary Islands and even though I don´t have time to think about it right now, I think I´m just a liiittle bit excited about just that!
Coming home will be lovely as it´s Christmas and I love spending time at home with my family. I´m actually a little bit sad that I´m going away for a whole week during December. After all it´s one of my favorite winter months! And I simply can´t get enough of Christmas!
I will be celebrating with my very own little family this year and then just relax all the way until school starts again in mid January.. What about you?

I was in need of a new eye liner and it was completely random that I ended up with this one. I thought the design was cute, it was relatively new and it had a felt tip. Sold.
I was a bit suprised when I opened it because it has this fun, tear-drop shaped innovative tip! The nib is completely flexible and makes the application very easy. It holds a ton of produt and it is very pigmented.

Maybelline Brow Satin Filling Powder Duo
I've been a Anastasia Brow Wiz addict for a long time now and it's a constant repurchase of mine. Recently my local drugstore stopped carrying it and my only options is to either drive for 30-40 minutes to buy it in another store or order it online and get it after a week of waiting. I don't prefer any of those options as I am a person who lives in the moment. If I want or need something, I want it right now.

Worth the Hype? Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer *Before & After*
Wednesday, July 15, 2015
So I finally decided to give this one a go!
I´m always on the hunt for something that can help my pores appear smaller, and I have a box full of different primers. Most of them are ok, and probably more than ok as well, but I just don´t think I will ever get satisfied with anything unless my pores go away completely:p So I might not be the most fair person to judge a pore minimizing product, because we all know a primer won´t make any pores in the world dissapear completely. But it can make the problem less noticeable, there and then - so let´s get into my thoughts, is it worth the hype or not?
I´ve seen many other bloggers and you tubers rave about it!
I have purchased almost all of the primers from Smashbox, and I´m a huge fan.
I´m always on the look for something to reduce my pores, so naturally I had to give this one a try!

Mac Blankety, a delicate pigmented lipstick with an amplified finish.
It´s creamy with a pinky beige nude shade, and one swipe is really all you need!
It´s definitely one of my must-have nudes from Mac and it looks absolutely gorgeous with a darker lipliner!
Do you have this color from Mac?
What is you must-have nude shade?

How to treat your damaged hair:) Joico K-Pak Shampoo & Condtioner Kit!
Wednesday, July 1, 2015
As a hairdresser at heart I love recommending products for your hair!
I really love this shampoo and conditioner, it smells amazing and makes my hair amazing.
If your hair is damaged from let´s say bleaching and heat tools - you should try this :)
This shampoo and conditioner doesn't weigh your hair down, so it fits those of us with fine hair. It also has a nice rich and creamy formula, which also makes is perfect for thicker and coarser hair!
It is supposed to repair damage, and they claim to go straight to the damaged cuticle filling in lost amino-acids, restoring the elasticity, strength and shine of the hair.
Besides Redken, Joico is one of my favorite brands!
If you are looking for a good quality shampoo/conditioner for your damaged hair, I would definitely give this a try :) It locks in moisture as well as reconstructing your damaged hair and split ends!
Combine with a good reconstructing mask about every fourth hair wash, and maybe the "split end mender" from Joico and you are off to a good start towards healthy hair!
Have you tried this?
If you have a hair care routine post on your blog I´d love to see it! :) xx

*Makeup Haul* Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer + Eye palette, Lancome Color Ideal Foundation & Guerlain Kohl liner
On my last makeup haul I was searching for a new mattifying and pore minimizing primer, of course managed to forget all about it and came home without it.
But as the makeup addict that I am, I had to go out in a new search for this product. I was in desperate need for something giving me matte skin as the Bare Minerals Bare Skin foundation was giving me serious trouble when it came to the not-so-cute-dewy-face-look.
Also since I have major problems with my pores I had the Smashbox primer in mind, and ended up getting that. I also ended up getting a few other things. What a shock.
In my defense, it was a sale on all three things (of course not on the only thing I was supposed to get), and they were all super cheap.
- 1. Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer.
Still trying this one out and before I say anything super positive about it I would like to test it and see if it really is as good as everyone raving on about! First impression is quite good though!
It has the same color and texture as Benefit POREfessional, if that tells you anything. I´m a super fan of that primer so that is definitely a plus!
Will do a review on this later if that is wanted? :)
- 2. Lancome Color Ideal Precise Match Skin Perfecting Make-up, Foundation #3.
As summer is approaching my skin is acting up in all different kinds of ways and it seems it have different needs every day. With means I am in need of different coverage, formula, color, texture, every day. One foundation is simply not enough for me.
This was half of the original price, they had my color and I though it was a great (and cheap) way to try out yet another foundation.
It did not disappoint at all and I really, really, really like it!
Light, but gives enough coverage, nice color, evens out, not too dry or dewy.
Have you tried this foundation?
- 3. Smashbox Full Exposure *travel size* Eyeshadow Palette.
I´ve been wanting this palette for ages, but I never justified getting it.
Apparently all it took was it to be "travel size" and then it was okay. And that it was on sale.
The palette is very pretty and it is perfect for summer and holiday. It is small and takes up minimal space. And that IS a really good argument for getting it, if you look away from the fact that I will be bringing this small, cute, practical and perfect palette ALONG with I guess at least two other normal sized ones.... So the point is sadly not there for me.. BUT is has some beautiful shades and I would love to do a swatch for you :)
- 4. Guerlain Terracotta Kohl Loose Powder #Noir
This is an old favorite of mine. I´ve had this for years, but one day the application tool broke inside the bottle and it was impossible to use (still with a lot of product inside). I never purchased a new one because of the simple fact, it is pretty expensive, but this one was at least 50% off so I just had to get it :D
I love haul posts, so if you´ve done any purchases recently please leave your links and I will have a look!

GHD V Gold Classic Kit - new straightener for my hair :)
Tuesday, June 30, 2015
I was in need for a new hair straightener as my old one decided to die on me.
There´s nothing like a good quality hair straightener so I was super happy when I came across this offer. This kit has the same price as the straightener alone!
I love GHD straighteners and it is so much better for my hair than the cheap ones you can get everywhere...
I got the classic styler, paddle brush (sooo pretty!), two sectioning clips and a bottle of heat protectant.
I´ve tried the heat protectant a few times, but I don´t really know what to say about it yet.. I don´t think I´m a huge fan. It smells kinda like male perfume.. and my hair does not get soft at all... But the paddle brush is super nice and so good. Heat protectant or not, it was a pretty good deal!
The classic gold styler is suitable for all types of hair and lengths, which is nice for me because of my super thin/fine short natural hair, and for when I wear thick long extensions :)
It heats up in a matter of seconds, ready to use! You can´t choose how high or low you want the temperature, and that might be a con if you need to protect your hair a bit extra. But then simply this is not the straightener for you. I try to be careful with heat tools in general, so I don´t mind..:)
What type/brand of hair straightener do you use/is your favorite?

Lash extensions by me *before/after volume lashes*
Thursday, June 18, 2015
Here´s a set of lashes I did the other day! Such a fun job, especially when it turns out this good!
I used Ardell Individual Lashes 8mm, 10mm and a few 12mm.
ST. TROPEZ Express Tanning Mousse *THE BEST*
Wednesday, June 17, 2015
The best self tanner I know!
Absolutely loving this mousse, it develops quickly, you can shower it off after 1, 2 or 3 hours - depending on how deep color you want, but it continues to work and develop for at least 8 hrs.
It gives such a beautiful tan.
Apply with a tanning mitt and you won´t have a single streak or uneven patch.
Smells amazing, but unfortunately it still has that nasty self tanner smell to it after applied to the skin...
What is your favorite type/brand of self tanner?

Maison Jar DIY - Beachy Tea Light Votive
Tuesday, June 16, 2015
I already told you about the Maison Jars that I found earlier, this is a smaller version, I removed the glass top but kept the metal lid on.
Then, simple as anything, I filled it with some white stones and shells, placed a tea light at the bottom and then knot a hemp twine around it.
For an extra beachy feeling you could add some sand as well, which were my intentions, but I
couldn´t find any so I´ll do that one later :)
*New* Nike Free Run Tropical Twist
In love with my turquoise Nikes, absolutely loving the color of these!
Actually they´re not that new, I bought them about 6 months ago during my vacation, but haven´t been wearing them until now as the weather is finally allowing it :)

Home Decoration with Maison Jar *Interior*
Monday, June 15, 2015
I found some old Maison Jars in an old basement, they´re actually "Norgesglass" (Norwegian glass) which is basically the Norwegian version of the Maison jar. It has the glass and metal airtight lid as well, but if you remove that - it transforms into a beautiful vase :)
Roses around the house makes me happy!
What´s your favorite DIY/remake of the Maison Jar?
Victoria´s Secret Amber Romance Body Lotion & Fragrance Mist *Favorite*
Wednesday, June 10, 2015
One of my all-time favorite VS fragrances are definitely this one, Amber Romance.
I can wear this all year round, but during summertime it brings back special memories of past vacations and fun times..!
What is your favorite Victoria´s Secret Fragrance?
My New Gel Nails - French Manicure + Glitter
1 and a half week ago I finally managed to go and get my nails done!
Lately I haven´t been doing anything to my nails and they´ve been kept short. They don´t seem as strong and healthy as they used to for just a year ago and it bothers me. I haven´t been wearing gel nails for about one and a half YEAR, so it felt pretty good to finally glam them up a little bit!
Do you prefer your nails to be long or short?
DIY Dresser before/after - white and diamond knobs
Monday, March 23, 2015
Hi everyone!
After I moved in with my boyfriend we´ve been doing some redecorating.
For example I´ve painted our bedroom and we´re currently waiting for a new wardrobe. It´s still gonna take around a couple of months until it´s finished so we´re having some temporary solutions for the storing of our clothes at the moment. Currently this is just as simple as an IKEA clothing rack with some hanging shelves and this dresser!
I did it all in a hurry. I was already painting the ceiling and the walls, and I just wanted a quick temporary change for this drawer. BUT it turned out quite pretty! Now I´m not sure if I want to get rid of it anymore:)
The knobs are bought off eBay some time ago and they were a perfect match!
My next project is our dining table and chairs, I just need to wait for the weather to get a bit warmer as I need to bring the table outside for cleaning and polishing before painting/staining it.
Do you have any current DIY projects? :)

MILANI Baked Blushes ~ Fantastico Mauve, Bellisimo Bronze, Red Vino & Rose D`oro ~
Friday, February 27, 2015
I´ve never been much of a blush-girl so my collection of blushes is not that huge. Actually, it mainly consists of these four blushes from Milani Cosmetics! Could you ever imagine?
It gives me a sense of relaxation though - knowing I have ONLY four blushes to choose from. Fewer options is gold for a indecisive person like me. Do you know the feeling?
If you're interested in seeing more of these blushes, which have become a favorite of mine - take a look!

NARS Turkish Delight Lipgloss *Swatches/Review*
Tuesday, February 10, 2015
I had a little last-minute shopping spree at the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport on my way home from my holiday in Dec-Jan.
I picked up a few items and one of them was this - a gloss I´ve been wanting for a very long time!
I
guess it´s quite known for being one of Kim Kardashians go-to products
to get those beautiful milky pink nude lips of hers (MAC Stripdown
lipliner, MAC Angel lipstick and NARS Turkish Delight lipgloss). And since I love nude lips more than anything eeelse - of course I wanted it!

*HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT* Honeybee Gardens Pressed Mineral Powder Foundation
Thursday, January 29, 2015
Top left: Malibu
Top right + lower left & right: Luminous
|
Used as a powder foundation it melts into my skin and gives great coverage. It doesn´t dry out my skin or settle into any dry patches I may have.
I love that I can wear it both as a full coverage foundation and look fab (I can even use this if I´m going out) or if I just want a natural no-makeup look. It gives me the coverage I need and evens out my skin tone, but it doesn´t necessarily look like I´m wearing any make up at all..
